The legendary basketball coach and former coach of the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Duško Vujošević, died at the age of 67 in Belgrade.
The news of his death it shook the region and numerous basketball fans, who remembered him as a coach of great authority, but also an even stronger character.
The deepest trace he left in Partizan, where he built numerous generations of players and won a number of trophies. He was symbol of work with young talents and a coach who knew how to create winning mentality. Many players took their first big steps towards a top career under his guidance.
Apart from Partizan, during his career he also managed OKK Beograd, Mladost Zemun and Crvena zvezda. He also worked abroad, where he coached clubs such as CSKA Moscow, Limoges and Brescia.
His coaching story it also included engagements in Pesaro, Pistoia and Scavolini. He was also representation menu of Serbia and Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He is in a career won the ABA league five timestwo titles in Yugoslavia, three championships of Serbia and Montenegro, six championship titles of Serbia, two Yugoslavian Cups and two Radivoj Korac Cups. In Romania, he won the double crown with Cluj. In the Euroleague, he led Partizan to third place in the 1987/88 season. and to the Final Four in 2010.
With his departure, the sport of basketball lost one of its own the most recognizable peopleit was announced from the Basketball Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
