The Regional Development Agency for the Central BiH region (REZ) has signed individual contracts with candidates selected within the Program “Professional training without employment of unemployed persons without work experience for the needs of the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton for the period 2026-2027”.
With the signing of the contract, the implementation of the program, which is carried out in cooperation with the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton and the Ministry of Labour, Social Policy and Refugees of the ZDK, which provides for the engagement of 19 young unemployed persons without work experience in ministries, cantonal administration bodies and public institutions of Zenica-Doboj Canton, officially begins.
– By signing these contracts, we are fulfilling our obligation to young people who have been waiting for their first chance. The ZDK government remains committed to creating conditions for young people to stay in the canton, and this program is one of the concrete steps in that direction. I believe that each of the engaged candidates will make the most of this opportunity – said Antonio Šimunović, Minister of Labor, Social Policy and Refugees of the ZDK.
-As of today, each of the selected candidates has a contract, a mentor and a clear training plan. REZ will monitor the implementation on a monthly basis and ensure that the program runs as it was intended – transparently, professionally and for the benefit of the candidates and the institutions that receive them – said director of REZ Ismet Sarajlić. In accordance with the Agreement on cooperation with the line ministry, REZ will regularly report on the progress of the program implementation and, upon its completion, submit a final narrative and financial report.
