The Taekwondo Championship of the Federation of BiH for all ages in the disciplines of sports fighting and form was held on Sunday in the Sports Arena in Zenica.
It took place at this Championship more than 360 competitors from 32 clubs from the territory of the Federation of BiH in the ages of younger and older cadets and juniors and seniors, in both male and female categories.
The taekwondo club “Poskok” from Posušje performed with four competitors in a sports fight who fought for the same number of finals and medals.
They won the finals Anamarija Miličević in the category of junior women up to 55 kilograms i Anđa Tomić in the category of female cadets up to 44 kilograms. Anamarija beat her rival in the semi-final as well as in the final 2:0 in the rounds and was deservedly decorated with gold.
Anđa won the semi-final with a score of 2:1 the current champion of Bosnia and Herzegovinaand in the final, she defeated her rival by stoppage with a score of 2:0 in the rounds and with this gold she redeemed herself for missing the BiH Championship.
Marko Bakula performed in the category of cadets up to 37 kilograms, where after winning 2:0 in the semi-finals, he lost in the fight for gold with a score of 2:1. Mija Begić in the cadet category up to 37 kilograms achieved two victories with results of 2:0 in the rounds, only to lose by the same result in the fight for the gold medal.
Posuška fighters were accompanied by a coach at this competition Petar Boban. In the continuation of the season, next weekend, Poskoke expect three performances. This team from Zenica expects to perform at the European points tournament in Zagreb, the second team of fighters will perform at the Dalmacija Cup in Split, while the form team will perform in Orašje.
