The scout failed to reach the final of the EHF Cup

Scout entered the rematch with the advantage of two goals from the first game in Ljubuško (33:31), but Tatabanya won the final with a total score of 68:67.

Ljubušac played another great European game and were in the game for a long time for a historic result. After a better start by the hosts, Izviđač took the lead 12:9 in the 17th minute with a reversal, and then reached a four-goal advantage (15:11) in the 22nd minute.

The moment that significantly disrupted the visitors’ game happened in the middle of the first half, when the best player, the Croatian representative Diano Neris Ćeško, received a straight red card. Ćeško had scored four goals up to that moment, and his exit significantly disrupted the game of the BiH champions.

The most effective member of the Scouts was Melić with seven goals, while Odak, Šahinović and Ćeško scored four each. At Tatabanya, Grigoras stood out with nine goals, Toniazzo Lemos with six and Sztraka with five goals.

Tatabanya thus became the first finalist of the EHF European Cup, while the second finalist will be the duel between GRK Ohrid and RK Celje Pivovarna Laško. The second leg of that semi-final will be played on Saturday in North Macedonia.
