During the visit, the delegation toured the works on the Kakanj-Tuzla 220 kV project, one of the strategic energy projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to information from the construction site, the works are proceeding according to plan, which represents a significant step towards strengthening the region’s energy security.
After the tour of the construction site, a working meeting was held in the Municipality of Banovići with Mayor Mehmed Hasanović and his associates, where they discussed the possibilities of improving strategic cooperation in the field of energy development and the inclusion of local companies in future projects.
“I hope that business cooperation with companies from Banović will be achieved. Every local community should support a company like this and we are proud that they visited us today. There is a sincere interest in Banović and other local communities, because Energoinvest is the foundation of one of the most positive stories of the expansion of manufacturing activities based on a strong brand,” said Mayor Hasanović.
Director of Energoinvest Mirza Ustamujić emphasized the potential of this area and the company’s role in energy development. “Banovići has extremely great potential. Energoinvest’s obligation is to open new markets, support the development of companies in this area and contribute to the strengthening of energy capacity, and accelerate the energy transition,” said Ustamujić.
The delegation then visited the company Elektroremont, after which it continued its journey towards Tuzla. A working meeting was held in this city with representatives of the company TTU Energetik Tuzla and the mayor of Tuzla, Zijad Lugavic. On that occasion, gratitude was expressed to Energoinvest, along with the expressed desire that the company contribute to the development of Tuzla and the wider community with its knowledge, experience and resources.
The working day ended with the attendance of the Energoinvest delegation to the ABA 2 league match in the Mejdan hall in Tuzla, which was joined by Vedran Lakić, Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry of the FBiH. At the beginning of the game, Energoinvest was presented with a special certificate of thanks for supporting the club as a general sponsor, and the recognition was presented to the director Mirza Ustamujić by the president of the club’s board of directors, Aid Berbić.
