The selection of the best athletes of the Tomislavgrad municipality for the 2024/2025 season was held in the hall of the Cultural and Information Center on Friday, organized by the Sports Association of the Tomislavgrad Municipality and with the support of numerous sponsors.
The program was conducted by a female journalist Mateo Jolic and a professor Krešimir Parlovwhile he took care of the musical atmosphere Duo Voucher (Mirna and Mijo).
At the very beginning, the mayor of the municipality addressed the audience Ivan Rebelthanking everyone who nurtures and develops sports in Tomislavgrad with their work and commitment.
Special attention this year was also attracted by the novelty – they are the winners for the first time awarded statuesthe artistic work of a young sculptor Mary Magdalene Madunicwho in her address explained their symbolism and the added value they bring to this event.
He awarded the first prizes Dragan Ledusic.
She is the best volleyball player Catherine Vukadin from OK Delminium, the best taekwondo player Jozo Too much from the Koryo Tomislavgrad club, while he is the best chess player Michael Pavkovic from HSK Tomislav.
He presented the awards for the best taekwondo player, basketball player and boxer Mario Tolic. She is the best taekwondo athlete Ivana Chatter from the Koryo club, the best basketball player Rose Matić from ŽKK Tomislav, and the best boxer Nusret Seferovic from BK Kralj Tomislav.
It is worth pointing out how the statues were presented to the awardees members of the Majorettes of Tomislavgrad.
In the rest of the evening Hajrudin Kozaric awarded prizes for the best soccer player and motocross rider. He is the best soccer player Stipan A musician from HNK Tomislav, while he is the best motocross rider Zoran Jurčević from Enduro Tomislavgrad.
Milan Vukadin presented awards for the best basketball player and runner – God Lucic from HKK Tomislav was declared the best basketball player, a Vesna Chatter from AK Puls as the best runner.
Igor Mandušić awarded prizes for the best cyclist and runner. He is the best cyclist Jozo Chamber from BK Tomislav, and the best runner Vinko Too much from the Hajdučka družina club.
Special awards followed. Chief Ivan Buntić assigned award for exceptional sports achievements to Vinko Pokrajčićwhile he was awarded for his exceptional contribution to the development of sports in Tomislavgrad Bosko Markovic.
A posthumous award for outstanding sporting achievements was awarded to the deceased Josip Scissorsand his wife accepted the award on his behalf Branka Scissors.
Team awards were awarded by the Prime Minister of HBŽ Ivan Vukadin.
The best female junior team are female cadets of ŽKK Tomislavthe best men’s junior team Juniors of HNK Tomislav. The best senior women’s team are senior girls OK Delminiumwhile they are the best men’s senior team seniors of HNK Tomislav.
At the end of the evening, they were also announced the best of the best. She awarded the awards for the best young sportsman and sportswoman Andja Jelavic – she was declared the best young athlete Ivana Chatter from the Koryo Tomislavgrad club, and is the best young athlete Stipe Petrović from HKK Tomislav.
