Sweden announced a 12.9 billion kroner (about $1.42 billion) military aid package to Ukraine on Thursday, which includes air defense systems, drones and long-range missiles.
The package is part of a wider framework of military support for Ukraine for 2026 worth 40 billion kroner.
Defense Minister Pal Jonsson said at a press conference that total Swedish military aid to Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion in 2022 now amounts to SEK 103 billion.
