Sports Day in Čapljina will be held on Tuesday as part of the 16th Plasma Youth Sports Games, and is being held with the support of the City of Čapljina.
The program of activities begins with the ceremonial opening of the Games in 10:00 am on the town square in front of the town administration building of Čapljina, with the lighting of a flame and an entertainment program for children, which will be followed by sports competitions according to the following schedule:
- 10:45 am – athletics competition (town square) – Chupa Chups CUP
- 10:45 a.m. – competition in the border game (town square and outdoor field of “Vladimir Pavlović” Primary School) –
m: phone CUP - 14:00 hours – basketball competition (town hall) – Sprite CUP
- 3:00 p.m. – Coca-Cola Cup (town hall)
- 5:00 p.m. – football (2015 edition) – Energoinvest Cup (town hall)
Last year, the youth sports games marked a great jubilee – 15 years of existenceduring which they visited 50 bh. cities and gathered more than 71,000 participantsconfirming the status of the largest amateur sports event for children and youth in the country. During the year 2026, Plasma Youth Sports Games will visit a total of 54 cities throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, gathering thousands of children and young people through sports competitions in 10 sports disciplines.
The values promoted by the Games are also recognized at the national level, given that the Plazma Sports Youth Games won the prize for the development of sports within the event “Selection of the Sportsman of the Year of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, organized by the media house Nezavisne Novine.
