The Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Nikšić, met today, at the seat of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo, with the young Bosnian Olympian and promising skier Esma Alić.
This meeting followed the recent meetings of the federal prime minister with the successful Bosnian skiers Elvedina Muzaferija and Anura Mehić, which shows the commitment of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to support young, promising and successful representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina at major sports competitions.
On this occasion, Esma Alić introduced Prime Minister Nikšić to the past participation in the Winter Olympic Games, in Beijing and Milan-Cortina, and the historic success in the last World Championship. She emphasized that she has ambitions to participate in the next Olympics, as well as the upcoming World Championship. She pointed out that the 2026/2027 season is for her. one of the most important seasons in his career. She also presented the preparation program for the upcoming competition season, which is necessary to achieve even better results. She also pointed to the problem she is facing in this intensive process, which also requires considerable financial resources.
Prime Minister Nikšić said that the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will, as far as possible, participate in the support of the upcoming preparations that Alić plans to implement in France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy and the Scandinavian countries from next month to December.
The federal prime minister emphasized that he believes that Alić, Muzaferija and Mehić, as the best ambassadors of our country, deserve every kind of support, the FBiH Government Office for Public Relations announced.
