This year’s Posuško lito event was opened with the “Posuška Desetka” race, which is being organized for the fifth time in Posušje.
The event was symbolically opened by the head of Ante Begić.
An attractive sports event, nice weather and then, for many, a non-working Saturday influenced that a large number of recreationists all ages and professional runners gather in one of the main streets, in front of the Municipality of Posušje, where the starting position and finish line for all participants was located.
According to the data of the organizers, the total number of races for children and young people was about 300 participantswhile 100 of them competed in the adult categories.
The first race, the one for young people, was held on sections of 300 and 600 meters, while adult runners tested their strength on sections of 3 and 10 kilometers which stretched through the center of the city and between the roundabouts in Rastovača and Ričina. Participants had the opportunity to refresh themselves during the race at two stations, and their safety was ensured by volunteers and the Posušje Police Department, whose members implemented special traffic regulation.
In the 10 km race in the women’s competition, they were the most successful Anđela Talić, Josipa Baković and Ana Zečevićand in men’s Ante Pokrajčić, Džemal Bukvić and Krešo Barić.
In the 3 km race in the women’s competition, they were the fastest Sara Lučić, Antea Pavlicevic and Nina Tadićwhile the men were the first to cross the finish line Marko Lončar, Tomislav Kopač and Ivan Tomić.
