On Saturday, Posušje Golf Club celebrated its 20th anniversary with a big jubilee tournament on the Topala field. More than 65 players participated in the competition, including the legendary Toni Kukoc.
The tournament gathered golf fans from all over the region, confirming Topala’s status as unique sports and recreation center in Herzegovina.
Special attention was attracted by the arrival of the former Croatian basketball national team member and three-time NBA champion Toni Kukocwho joined the competitors on this Mediterranean terrain.
Club leadership, led by the president Josip Grubišićhas devoted the past two decades to the development of this sport and the promotion of sports tourism. The club has become a recognizable meeting place for nature lovers, and today’s anniversary is the crown of many years of work on popularizing golf in Posušje.
The Mayor of Posušje Municipality, Ante Begić, attended the tournament and congratulated the leadership and members of the club.

The Topala field continues to provide a specific environment for playing and socializing, and the organizers point out that this tournament is just the beginning of a new era in which plan to further improve the municipality’s infrastructure and tourist offer.
