Today, on the outdoor sports field of the High School for Traffic and Communications in Sarajevo, the third “Techniciade”, a sports competition of high technical and vocational schools of Sarajevo Canton, was officially opened.
Lejla Dizdarević, assistant mayor for education, social activities, culture and sports, attended today’s event on behalf of the Municipality of Centar.
This youth competition was financially supported by the Ministry of Education of the Canton of Sarajevo, while municipalities from the area of the Canton of Sarajevo gave their support in the organization, including the Municipality of Centar.
Last week, the head of the Municipality of Centar, Srđan Mandić, signed a contract with the director of the Middle School of Construction and Geodesy, Asmir Demir, for the implementation of the project “Technicijada” in the amount of 5,000 KM.

The third “Techniciade”, which will last until April 20, gathered 2,400 students from 21 secondary technical and vocational schools from the area of Sarajevo Canton.
Participants will show their skills in six sports disciplines: basketball, indoor soccer, volleyball, athletics, chess and table tennis, in the women’s and men’s categories.
In addition to the High School for Traffic and Communications in Sarajevo, this sports competition will also be held in the Jezero Medical High School, the Vogošća High School Center and the Hadžići High School Center.
