The FIFA Player Status Committee accepted the request of Mahmić and NS/FS BiH to change his sports citizenship, which gave this talented midfielder the right to play for Bosnia and Herzegovina and will be available to coach Sergej Barbarez for the upcoming challenges.
Ermin Mahmić was born on March 14, 2005 and currently plays for Slovan Liberec. This season, in 28 official games, he scored 7 goals and recorded 5 assists, confirming the quality and potential that rank him among the most promising young players. Before coming to Slovan, he played for Austrian Lafnitz.
He has already worn the jersey of Bosnia and Herzegovina through the youth selections, and now the biggest stage awaits him and the opportunity to show his talent in front of the whole nation.
