Football players of Željezničar will welcome the Velež team from Mostar tomorrow at the “Grbavica” stadium, in the match of the 31st round of the WWin League of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
FC Željezničar coach Savo Milošević said at today’s press conference that the focus of the coaching staff during the week was on the team’s recovery, given the large number of matches played in a short period of time.
– The most important thing is that we came out of the previous matches without injuries. This gives us the basis to try to meet the demands of the next game with a good energy level. The atmosphere in the team is positive, especially after the last result, and we hope to win tomorrow – said Milošević.
He pointed to an evident increase in efficiency and the number of opportunities his players create, while at the same time the defense of Željezničar seems more confident, which is also confirmed by the small number of goals conceded in the last period. The psychological breakthrough is particularly significant, which is directly related to better results – added Milošević.
Sarajevo club player Deni Milošević emphasized that the team expects a continuation of the positive streak, and pointed out that playing on the home field means a lot to Željezničar.
– After the previous games, there is an obvious improvement in the mood within the team. We are playing in front of the home crowd and the goal is to confirm that points in our stadium cannot be won easily. Although fatigue is present, we believe that we are ready to continue the competition – he stated.
When asked about the possible pressure due to the lack of victories at home, Milošević pointed out that the support of the fans is an additional motive.
– Playing at our home stadium is an advantage for us. The support from the stands gives additional strength, and we believe that with good results we will further strengthen the relationship with the fans – he said.
The match between Željezničar and Velež will be played on Saturday starting at 20:45.
