The State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) is conducting searches at 12 locations in the area of Bihać, Cazin, Bosanska Krupa and Mostar, where cocaine, heroin and marijuana have already been found, and six people have been arrested.
The operational action “Virus” was carried out in cooperation with SIPA and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Una-Sana Canton, as well as the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.
As part of the action, residential and auxiliary facilities and movable property are searched in 12 locations, in the area of Bihać, Cazin, Bosanska Krupa and Mostar.
Searches are carried out according to the orders of the Cantonal Court in Bihać and the Municipal Court in Mostar and under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Una-Sana Canton of Bihać and the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that the criminal offense of “Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs” prescribed by the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been committed.
So far, the searches have revealed and temporarily confiscated about two kilograms of white powdery substance that looks like cocaine, about five kilograms of green plant matter that looks like cannabis, 30 grams of brown powdery thing that looks like heroin, three pistols with ammunition, mobile phones and other items that can be used as evidence in criminal proceedings.
Six people were arrested and after criminal processing and questioning as suspects, they will be handed over to the further jurisdiction of the aforementioned prosecutor’s offices, it says. Klix.
