Celebrated German football player, former goalkeeper Oliver Khan, announced the purchase of French Bordeaux.
He, in a conversation for Bild, said that he had already sent an offer to “gyroondini” which is now competing in amateur rank, currently in the fourth league of France.
Khan and the group of European and Saudi investors represented, in the negotiations with the current owner of the Bordeaux Gerard Lopes in connection with the Team’s Team for 30m euros, the German media writes.

“The CIL is to return the club in league 1 in the coming years, and I think we can. But it will depend on the agreement we achieve,” Khan said.

He explained and from where he became interested in the stumbled club.
“It’s a club with great history, it also has a large fan base. And now, the Fourth League matches fans come massively and give the team support. It’s really great.”
