The Basketball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (KS BiH) made a decision that this season, as in the previous one, the final of the championship will be played through League 4, which will be followed by a play-off for the national champion.
This decision was made primarily due to alignment with the ABA league calendar, considering the participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. representative in the finals of regional competitions.
Namely, the teams of Bosna BH Telecom and Igokee perform in the play-in of the first ABA League, while the Široki team won the final of the play-off of the ABA League 2.

Fighter – Jahorina
After playing League 4, the two first-placed teams will qualify for the semi-finals of the play-off, where the favored teams of Igokea and Bosna BH Telecom are already waiting for them.
A novelty in the competition system is the way of playing the finale. Semi-final duels, as well as the final match for the title of champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will be played on a basket-quotient through two games (home and away), which guarantees maximum uncertainty until the referee’s final whistle.
