The Fund for Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities of the Federation of BiH today announced two public calls for a total value of 16.7 million KM, with the aim of improving employment, preserving existing jobs and strengthening the professional capacities of persons with disabilities throughout the Federation of BiH.
The first public call, for the allocation of financial incentives for new employment and self-employment, was announced in the amount of eight million KM. Employers who hire people with disabilities can receive support in the range of 15,000 to 32,400 KM per employed person, depending on the degree of disability, employment conditions and duration of employment.
The funds are intended for adjusting workplaces, purchasing equipment and raw materials, financing salaries and contributions, as well as hiring assistants, thus creating a stable and sustainable working environment. Support is also available to persons with disabilities who start an independent or agricultural activity as their main occupation.
The public call remains open for 45 days, ending on April 13, 2026.
The second public call, worth 8.7 million KM, refers to the financing and co-financing of employment sustainability programs, the development of companies for the employment of persons with disabilities and protective workshops, and professional rehabilitation programs.
Funds are distributed through five program areas (LOTs) that include the preservation of the existing level of employment (2.4 million KM), the development of business companies and protective workshops (3.6 million KM), professional rehabilitation programs for which persons with disabilities apply independently (120,000 KM), support for persons with disabilities who perform independent or agricultural activities (2.4 million KM), and programs for the sustainability of employment in organizations of persons with disabilities (180,000 KM).
The call remains open for 30 days, ending on March 29, 2026.
