In the town of Novo Selo near Bosanski Brod, on April 2, priest Nenad Mitrić and his wife Nedeljka lost their lives, while their children were injured and hospitalized in Slavonski Brod. Fortunately, the doctors confirmed that they are out of danger.
After the accident, a humanitarian campaign was launched through the platform GoFundMewith the aim of ensuring a safer future for children and covering medical and living expenses. People all over the world got involved in the action, and the collected funds have already approached the planned amount.
According to the data from the platform, the donation of 5,000 dollars is attributed to Nurkic, who did not publicly comment on this gesture, remaining consistent with his modesty.
This move once again confirms how much the athletes from Bosnia and Herzegovina, apart from the results on the field, often show a big heart off it.
