Cedevita Olimpija beat Igokea in the match of the last round of the Top 8 phase of the ABA League 102:88.
The visitors were equal rivals until the beginning of the last quarter. The home team kicked into gear and after just three minutes of play they had an 81:72 lead after a 7:0 series. Nenad Stefanović’s basketball players did not manage to fully recover from this and with two victories they end the Top 8 phase.
David Škara was the best in the winning team with 19 points. For the guests, Aleksandar Lazić 17, Dragan Milosavljević 15, Nate Pierre-Louis and Dževon Bes each scored 13, and Strahinja Gavrilović scored 10 points.
Igokea is eighth after this part of the competition. They will play a play-in against Bosnia, which has the home field advantage.
