Iago Aspas started his professional career at Celta back in 2006 and was out of that club only between 2013 and 2015, when he was a member of Liverpool and Sevilla. He returned to Vigo in 2015 and still wears the light blue jersey of Celta.
He is the club’s best scorer in history. In total, he played more than 500 official games for Celta and scored 221 goals. He played 364 games in La Liga and scored 155 times.
Between 2016 and 2023, he played 20 games for the Spanish national team, scoring six goals.
