Bosnian tennis player Damir Džumhur failed to reach the semi-finals of the ATP tournament in Bucharest.
In the quarter-finals of the tournament worth 612,620 euros, Dzumhur was defeated by the eighth-ranked Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp 6:3, 6:3, in a little less than an hour and a half of play.
The 33-year-old from Sarajevo, who reached the semi-finals last year in Bucharest, defeated the local representative Jianu in the first round, and then eliminated the fourth-seeded Portuguese Borges.
