We know that we are talking about a team that has a much larger budget than us, but on the field we are asked the same questions as they are, Scouts coach Ivan Džolić said at today’s press conference ahead of the first match of the EHF European Scout Cup semi-finals between Scouts and Tatabánya.which is played on Sunday in Ljubuški.
Preparations for the match are going well and you can feel it in the training sessions. The team is extremely motivatedthey are training really well and I think we will have sweet concerns when choosing the team – emphasized Džolić, adding that he will have a full squad at his disposal for the duel with the Hungarians.
đDžolić pointed out that Bosnia and Herzegovina champion in Ljubuški always focused on winningregardless of the opponent’s name, and Tatabánya, according to him, is no exception:
We respect the opponent, we know their quality, we know that we are talking about a team that has a much larger budget than us. But again, on the field we are asked just as much as they are. With the support of our fans, I think so we can come to victory.
He added how nothing will be settled after the first game and that the finalist will be decided in the rematch in Hungary, which is scheduled for May 1.
Džolić also referred to the absence of former Scout Josip Šarac, the current Tatabánya player, saying that Josip is now “playing another game in which he is fighting for his life” and wished him victory.
The Tatabánya team will arrive in Herzegovina on Saturday, they will be based in Međugorje, and before the match they will do one training session in the hall in Ljubuški.
The club pointed out that they expect a visit of more than 4,000 spectators on Sunday.
The match is played in Sunday from 8 p.m.
