The Tourist Council of the Tourist Board of the Zenica-Doboj Canton held a constitutive session today in Zenica, at which the director of the TZZDK, Šaban Ibrišimović, was elected as the president of that body.
Namely, the director of TZZDK is automatically the president of the Tourist Council of TZZDK, which has a total of 14 members. The composition of that body consists of 12 representatives of local communities – three cities and nine municipalities of that canton, the director of TZZDK and a representative of the Ministry of Economy of ZDK.
– Today, TV TZZDK was finally formed, and I thank all the representatives of municipalities and cities who attended this constituent session. We managed to make a decision and send an opinion to the relevant Ministry of Economy on the amount of the residence tax in the area of ZDK for 2026, i.e. its increase from the current two to three KM. This is our proposal, which will be adopted by the ZDK Government. The proposal for residence tax per accommodation unit remains 50 KM – said Ibrišimović.
He expressed his satisfaction that they made direct contact with representatives of local communities and that they continue to promote the potential of ZDK as partners.
– We invited and asked the representatives of municipalities and cities to actively participate in the role for which they were proposed by their administrative bodies, in order to achieve the overall cooperation of TZZDK and municipalities and cities in the simplest way, all with the aim of promoting the tourism potential of ZDK in the best possible way – said Ibrišimović.
Previously, the Supervisory Board of TZZDK was elected last year, so with today’s constitution of the Tourist Council, the management structure of TZZDK is complete.
The Government of ZDK and the relevant Ministry of Economy, Ibrišimović points out, are committed to the development and investment in the tourism potential of ZDK, writes Zenicablog.
