Real Madrid is facing one of the most difficult phases in recent club history.
A season without a trophy, the second in a row, is already causing concern, but information coming from the locker room points to even more serious problems.
According to the Spanish media, a situation occurred at the beginning of March that caused a great deal of anxiety within the club.
Namely, several players did not want to travel to the championship match against Celta in Vigo.
As stated, as many as four football players refused to go to that visit. Among them are Eduardo Camavinga, Dani Carvajal, Raul Asencio and Alvaro Carreras.
Journalist Pepe Alvarez made claims that further raised the dust.
“Camavinga, Raul Asencio and two other players refused to travel to Vigo. The club had to react and resolve the situation,” said Alvarez.
It later emerged that Camavinga and Carreras had specific reasons for their absence. The French midfielder had problems with a severe tooth infection, while the Spanish full-back could not play due to suspension.
However, the reasons why Carvajal and Asencio did not want to go on the trip have not been clarified.
An interesting statement was also made by Alvaro Arbelo’s coach immediately after that game, which now gains additional weight.
“I’m very happy for the guys who wanted to come here,” Arbeloa said.
There is more and more talk about broken relationships within the team, weaker authority and the fact that part of the players no longer perceive the jersey in the way that was previously characteristic of this club.
Dissatisfaction among fans has been going on for some time, and information like this further worsens the situation and deepens the gap between the team and the stands.
Everything indicates that the upcoming transfer window will bring big changes. The departure of a large number of players is in circulation, while the club is simultaneously considering the choice of a new coach.
