It is a match that brings a top sporting challenge for Bosnia’s basketball players, against a team that has established itself this season as one of the best teams in Europe and that is fighting for first place in the ABA League, announced KK Bosna.
Bosna has already secured the seventh position, thus equaling the club’s best result in the ABA League. The Sarajevo team’s ambitions do not end there, however, because its next goal is to confirm its quality and competitiveness against one of the strongest opponents in the league.
KK Bosna coach Muhamed Pašalić points out that the match against Dubai in itself is a great motivation for his team, because it is a Euroleague team that is fighting for first place in the ABA league.
– That is a big enough invitation for all our fans to come and support us. By placing in 7th place, we have already equaled the club’s best result in the ABA League, but we don’t want to stop there. This team has character, energy and hunger for progress, and we want to show it on the field. We know that an extremely difficult opponent awaits us, but we are playing in front of the home crowd and we believe in what we are doing. Our goal is to be competitive, fighting and to give our maximum in every second of the game – said Pašalić.
Bosnia’s basketball player Miralem Halilović notes that this match is an excellent test for the representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina to see where it stands in terms of quality compared to the team that fought until the last round to be among the ten best in Europe.
– This is also a preparation for everything that comes to us in the final and most important part of the season. With the energy and tactical ideas that we have prepared, I am sure that we will provide the best possible game – he said.
