Austrian prosecutors have filed terrorism-related and other criminal charges against the 21-year-old suspect, who was arrested shortly before a Taylor Swift concert in Vienna in 2024 on suspicion of planning a militant attack.
The prosecutor’s office in Vienna announced the filing of criminal charges against an unnamed suspect, identified by Austrian media as Beran A., accusing him of producing a small amount of triacetone triperoxide explosives and attempting to illegally purchase weapons, according to a statement on Monday.
Beran A.’s lawyer was not available for comment at the moment, Ruters reported.
