The European Commission has made a decision on high financial penalties for Apple and target due to violations of acts of acts on digital markets.
Apple was penalized with 500m euros, while the target is fined with 200 million euros.
These penalties followed after both companies violated their obligations.
Apple was accused of lack of measures to prevent market power abuse, while the target violated the rules that relate to the privacy of users, ie enabling their greater freedom in choosing services used by less personal data.
The Commission noted that both companies had the opportunity to present their views and arguments in detail during extensive consultations before penalties became final.
