The company from which the NIGHT Party of the Alternative for Germany (AFD) rented space for its headquarters in Berlin has announced that he wanted to terminate the lease and expel the party from her premises, the Bild Listed.
“According to the investigation of the Bild, the party must immediately leave his federal headquarters, and the owner of the bar was filed by the competent regional court in Berlin”, writes Bild, T-Online Transfers.
The article specifies that the landlord in the fall 2022. signed contracts with AFD on the lease of premises for its headquarters in the Rajnikendorf district. AFD has signed three lease agreements for a total of about 2,400 square meters and 20 parking spaces, for which the rent is 42,775 euros per month.
At the same time, the owner of the bar warned the AFD that no political advertising is acceptable.
The landlord was not satisfied that the Official Events of AFD was organized in the parliamentary elections in the headquarters, a campaign tents were placed in the backyard, and the party’s logo was projected in the text. According to the landlord, the use of the building is difficult for other tenants due to protests and police coigrins and this is not just a violation of the contract, but also pointed out, represents the situation of increased risk.
The owner of the bar is in the AFD letter requested to empty the premises by 31. March this year, but the party did not do so.
In response, AFD emphasizes that the landlord should have predicted the possibility of maintaining party events at the party’s headquarters.
The AFD also announced that only a small part of the facade of the building was illuminated and there was no complaints of other tenants.
The party apologizes that the owner was not particularly informed about the specific event and offered compensation in the amount of 10,000 euros.
According to Bild, the landlord rejected the offer for compensation and went to court.
