Dinamo mathematically secured the 26th Croatian championship title after Rijeka and Hajduk played 0:0 in the derby of the 32nd round in Rujevica. The people of Split only needed a win to stay in the race.
Although the meeting is before 7.600 spectators finished scoreless, there was no lack of excitement. Hajduk threatened most seriously in the 37th minute over Rokassa Pukštasawho, after an assist from Livaja, broke in front of the home goalkeeper on his own, but shot wide.
Four minutes later, Rijeka responded; goalkeeper Silić stopped Dantas’ shot, and Šarlija continued the action hit the crossbar of his own goal.
The net shook in the 53rd minute when Melnjak scored for Hajduk, but it was a goal canceled due to hinterland assistant Brajković. Until the end of the match, Rijeka tried through Radeljić, Dantas and Jurić, while Melnjak was again the most dangerous for the visitors, but the result did not change.

With this outcome Dinamo escapes Hajduk by an unattainable 12 points ahead of tonight’s match against Varaždin.
The people of Varaždin they come to Maksimir as the third-placed championship team in the fight for Europe, while River holds the fourth position.
