Former Montenegrin football player Mladen Kaluđerović (43) died in an accident that happened on Saturday evening in the Plavnički channel on Lake Skadar.
In the report of the local police department, it is stated that Kaluđerović drowned after the capsize of the boat in the Plavnička canal. The second person who was in the boat was injured, while the search for the third person is still ongoing.
His former club Zeta said goodbye to Kaluđerović via social networks:
It is with deep sadness and disbelief that we inform the public that Mladen Kaluđerović, former football player and member of the board of FK Zeta, has left us.
Mladen was a part of Zeta – on the field, but also off it. As a player, he wore our jersey with prideeven after the end of his career, he remained with the club, contributing to its work and development.
He was first and foremost a man – honest, dedicated and always there for Zeta. His departure leaves a void that cannot be filled.
He left behind his wife and two sons, Mihailo and Pavle. Today, Mihailo wears the youth jersey of FK Zeta, continuing the path his father started. In these difficult times, the family FK Zeta stands by the Kaluđerović familysharing the pain and sorrow of a great loss.
