The most active European Volcano Etna was erupted in the Italian island of Sicily, causing panic among tourists running in front of the thick cloud of ash and smoke.
From the crater, they began to erupt glowing rocks, ashes and gas, and smoke could see miles away.
Just a few hours before the eruption, a strong underground earthquake, which began about 22 hours the previous evening and reached the peak for about one hour after midnight. The earthquake epicenter was at a depth of about 2.8 kilometers under the crater.

The Center for Supervision of Vulkan ashes in Toulouse has issued a red warning for air traffic, stating that the cloud composed mainly of water vapor and sulfur dioxide moves towards the southwest, the new one.

The Italian National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology announced that eruption is increasingly intense, with an almost constant explosion of the strombolic type.
Etna has previously inflicted the damage to the surrounding places, covering them with layers of black ash, and today’s eruption reminds how much that volcano is still a powerful and unpredictable force of nature.
