At today’s 111th session of the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton, chaired by Prime Minister Nezir Pivić, a Decision was made to approve funds to the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the co-financing of the conceptual project of the Bilino Polje National Stadium in Zenica, in the amount of 82,269 KM.
In September of this year, the government of the Zenica-Doboj canton signed a cooperation agreement with the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in which it committed itself to participate with 49 percent of the financial resources in the development of the conceptual project of the National Football Stadium on the site of the “Bilino Polje” stadium in Zenica. The remaining 51 percent of the necessary funds will be provided by the N/FSBiH.
– It is a great honor for the ZDK Government to be a part of this important project, because the national stadium in Zenica is not only an infrastructural project, but also an identity project, bearing in mind the importance of the Bilino Polje stadium for the football teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina. These are the first funds that we allocated jointly with the N/FSBiH – said Prime Minister Nezir Pivić.
At today’s meeting, the government adopted a decision on the appointment of the Management Board of the Institute for Addiction Diseases of Zenica-Doboj Canton for a mandate period of four years, and the Decision on approving additional financial resources to the Red Cross of Zenica-Doboj Canton in the amount of 30,000 KM, for the purpose of additional support for the implementation of program activities in 2025.
The Minister of Finance, Dženana Čišija, stated that the payment of the remaining stimulus funds for the economy and agriculture, which were previously approved by the decisions of the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton, was made today, and 8.2 million KM was also paid to the supplier of the helicopter “Airbus AS350”, which was purchased by the Government for the needs of civil protection, police and emergency medical intervention.
-Officials of the Ministry of Finance have made maximum efforts to enter the New Year with all obligations based on incentives settled. 3,117,627.35 KM incentives were paid for strengthening the competitiveness of companies and 1,296,771.65 KM incentives for agriculture – Minister Čišija said.
