Apple removed the Iceblock application on Thursday, who sent notifications to users the presence of the agents of the American Immigration Service (ICE) in their vicinity.
This application was the most popular tool for monitoring ICE activities, a key part of Trump’s sharp immigration policy, known for its frequent raids and arrests of migrants. The US Department of Justice warned that the application can increase the risk of attacking American agents.
Apple stated that he removed Iceblock and similar applications after contacted by the Trump Administration.
