Unfortunately, BH. the combination of Ema Burgić and Tea Kovačević failed to find a solution for the moody Moroccans Yasmine Kabbaj and Dia El Jardi. The Moroccan double won with a convincing score of 6:2, 6:2.
Our tennis players, under the leadership of coach Ismar Gorčić, made a great effort throughout the week in Banja Luka, but the decisive points went to the opponent’s side at key moments.
Although this defeat resulted in relegation to a lower rank, the performances of BH. tennis players, and especially the young forces that are coming, showed that BiH. women’s tennis has potential.
Head coach Gorčić and the national team now have a period of analysis and preparation for the next season, in which the primary goal will be to return to the Second Group of the Euro-African Zone.
