The first patient is a 60-year-old resident of the Kursk region.
The vaccine was made in cooperation between NICEM “NF Gamalej” and NMIC (National Medical Research Center) for oncology “NN Blohina”, and it is produced by NMIC for radiology.
According to the director of the National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology, Alexander Ginzburg, pre-clinical studies on animals have shown that the domestic vaccine is 100 percent effective in eliminating the primary tumor and 90 percent effective in eliminating metastases.
