Elektroprivreda Bosnia and Herzegovina has launched an official procedure for changing the price of electricity, and the new calculation has been submitted to the Energy Regulatory Commission in the Federation of BiH (FERK) to confirmation. If the proposal shall be adopted, new prices will be applied from 1. September this year, and the change does not apply only to households, the increase in the price, institutions and other organizations that do not have a market contract.
According to the proposal of Elektroprivreda, all business entities that are supplied through the public supply, instead of so far 26.31 FENNING per kilowatt in the so-called The expensive rate will pay 27.34 of the fingering. At the same time, the price of cheap electricity will be increased from 13.15 to 13.66 pipeline per kilowatt. Although corrections look slightly, the total monthly cost for many companies could rise significantly, especially in sectors where the daily consumption of electricity is high.
This increase in prices will not bypass the institutions of special social importance. Among them are nursery, kindergartens, homes for accommodation of children, students, students, religious officers, disabled, people with minorities, elderly and pensioners, as well as religious facilities and cuisine of humanitarian organizations. Also, the higher price of electricity will also pay companies, institutions and organizations that employ persons with disabilities, in accordance with the Law on Professional Rehabilitation.
For these categories of users, the price of Kilowatt will be corrected from 15 to 15.90 pillings, which is an increase of 6 percent. Although it seems to be the minimum amounts, when multiplied by monthly consumption at the level of larger facilities, the total cost becomes significant.
