Kouame gained a big advantage of 5-0, but Vallejo managed to come back and then take the lead 7-6. However, from that moment to the end of the match, the Paraguayan won only one point, which meant that Kouame won 6:3, 7:5, 3:6, 2:6, 7:6(8) and won the third round of Roland Garros.
