The final of the Champions League has changed its schedule, they will not play at 21.00

This year’s final will be played in Budapest on May 30, but it is interesting that it will not start at 9:00 p.m., as was the case until now.

UEFA decided to make a change, so the biggest match of European club football will start three hours earlier, ie at 6 pm.

UEFA said the reason for the change was to improve the matchday experience for fans, making the game more accessible to younger audiences and international viewers.

“The Champions League final is the highlight of the season, and the new start of the game will make it even more accessible, inclusive and impactful for everyone involved,” explained the first man of European football, Aleksander Ceferin.

He said that an earlier final means an earlier finish on Saturday, so fans would have more time to enjoy the rest of the evening.

The 18:00 time slot is expected to remain in effect for the coming seasons.
