The final series of the Championship of the Herceg-Bosna Basketball Association, in which the teams from Ljubuški and Mostar will fight for the title, begins this weekend.
The first game on the schedule is at Sunday starting at 19:30 hours in the City Sports Hall in Ljubuškowhile the second one is scheduled for Wednesday in Mostar from 8:00 p.m.
The final brings a duel between the two tied teams which finished the regular part of the season with an identical ratio, which further confirms that an uncertain and high-quality fight for the title is expected.
Before the start of the series, Ljubuški’s coach Marin Bubalo he pointed out that his team is expecting a demanding challenge.
In the final teams that had the same ratio meet in the regular part and therefore this should be a great and uncertain final series. The Mostar team is very well organized, probably tactically and a team that can offer the most options in the game in the entire league. As far as we’re concerned, the boys have been doing really well all year. We are aware that we can play even better basketball than we have played throughout this season. I hope that we will show it already on Sunday and that we will make all our fans happysaid Bubalo.
HKK Mostar coach Ante Lončar believes that his team is expecting a difficult and uncertain final.
The team He is Ljubuško’s favorite because during the season they showed the best game and deservedly took first place before the playoffs. I hope that we will play well and put up a strong resistance. It is played on three wins and I believe that an interesting final awaits us, said Loncar.
