Cristiano Ronaldo is facing a bigger problem than initially thought after the hamstring injury he suffered in the match against Al Fayha in the Saudi Pro League.
The Portuguese star’s recovery is not going as planned, and additional examinations have shown that the situation is more serious than the doctors initially estimated.
At a press conference, Al Nassr coach Jorge Jesus confirmed that detailed medical tests indicated a more complicated injury.
According to him, examinations have shown that Cristiano Ronaldo’s injury is more severe than expected, which is why the club is forced to adjust his recovery plan.
Ronaldo will travel to Spain for continued treatment, where he will undergo therapy in Madrid with his personal therapist.
Coach Al Nassra pointed out that other players had previously gone to that country for treatment when they had more serious injuries and expressed the hope that Ronaldo will recover as soon as possible and return to the field to help the team.
Earlier, there were reports that Ronaldo left Saudi Arabia on a private plane due to the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, but such allegations have since been denied.
