The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced a tender for the development of convertible brand coins in the denominations of two and five KM.
According to the published procurement notice, it is a limited public procurement procedure, whose total estimated value is 7,900,000 KM without VAT, reports Akta.ba.
Within this procurement, coins are requested in accordance with the technical requirements listed in detail in the tender documentation, and the deadline for the implementation of the contract is 12 months from the day of conclusion. Delivery and realization are planned in Sarajevo.
Strict technical and security conditions
Candidates who want to participate in this procedure must prove that they are registered for performing activities related to the production of wrought money, and deliver certified documentation not older than three months.
In terms of technical and professional ability, bidders must have a successful coin development – at least one contract implemented in the last three years, at a minimum value of 4 million euros. Also, they must meet international environmental standards and environmental protection, and have:
– quality control laboratory (own or through contracts with accredited institutions),
– Object insurance 24 hours a day,
– Openness for supervision of production by the central bank of BiH.
Offers by model “Lowest Price”
In accordance with the publication, the contract will be assigned based on the criteria of the lowest price. The Bank also requires an offer guarantee, as well as a guarantee for the execution of the contract, and all additional information are available in the tender documentation.
The documentation can be downloaded by 16. June 2025. year, when the deadline for delivery of requests for participation will expire, accurately at 11 o’clock. Electronic implementation of the procedure or e-auctions are not intended.
