The International Football Federation (FIFA) has announced 11 candidates for the Puskas Award, which is awarded for the best goal of the season.
The winner will be decided voting by fans and expert jury in the ratio of 50-50 votes, and the winner of the award will be announced during the FIFA Best Football Awards.
An award named after one of the of the best football players of all time, Ferenc Puskas it has been awarded for the best goal of the season since 2009, and the first winner was the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo. Among the winners were Mohamed Salah, Oliver Giroud, James Rodriguez, Neymar, Zlatan Ibrahimović…
All of this year’s nominated goals are brilliant and deserving of an award.
Alerrandro, Santiago Montiel and Amr Nasser scored fantastic with scissors, Declan Rice from a free kick, Rizky Ridho almost from the center, while Lamine Yamal, Kevin Rodrigues, Pedro de la Vega and Carlos Orrantia scored from distance.
Alessandro Deiola scored after a great move involving four Cagliari players, while Lucas Ribeiro scored after a solo break.
