In 2025, Tešanj confirmed its status as one of the strongest economic centers of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, achieving a fiscal turnover of 3,113,412,276 KMwhich ranks it at second place in Cantonright behind Zenica.
Tešanj accounts for a quarter of ZDK’s total turnover
According to the data presented, Tešanj participates with 25 percent in the total fiscal turnover of ZDKwhich makes a key contribution to the total cantonal traffic, which in 2025 amounts to 12.57 billion KM. This result confirms the strong economic activity of this municipality within the cantonal economy.
ZDK recorded a growth of 26 percent, Tešanj among the carriers
The total fiscal turnover of the Zenica-Doboj Canton in 2025 was recorded a growth of 26 percentand Tešanj, together with Zenica and Visoki, is among the municipalities that generate the largest part of this growth.
Zenica is in first place with 3.59 billion KM and by a share of 29 percentwhile the City of Visoko is third with 1.91 billion KM and by a share of 15 percent.
ZDK is getting stronger within the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
The participation of the Zenica-Doboj Canton in the total turnover of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2025 amounts to 16.65 percentwith visible growth compared to previous years. In terms of value, the participation of ZDK in the turnover of the Federation amounts to 75.45 billion KM.
Tešanj as a stable economic pillar
With more than three billion convertible marks in fiscal turnover and a quarter of the share in the cantonal economy, Tešanj confirms itself as one of the most stable and significant economic pillars of the Zenica-Doboj Canton in 2025.
