Tennis Tournament M25 “Juicy Kiseljak Open” is underway.
The tournament is played for a $ 30,000 prize pool, which is a record since it is played under the auspices of the ITF.
The finals of the tournament is on Sunday, 15. June.
Bosnia and Herzegovina had seven representatives in the qualifications, but no one managed to enter the main part of the tournament.
When it comes to singles, 32 players were found in the main draw, Elliptic Kiseljak Tennis Club was announced.
There was room in doubles for 16 pairs. The first holder this year is Russian Marat Sharipov, who was 245. The world of the world.
Sharipov won nine ITF tournaments in his career, and in Kiseljak, “stuck” last year in the semifinals.
The second holder is Austrian Joel Schwaerzeler (349 in the world), and the third Australian Marc Polmans (414).
In the main part of the tournament, there were four representatives of BiH: Homemade player Ivan Biletić, Vladan Tadic, Andrej Nedić and Amar Kolić, and Only Andrej Nedić managed to pass the first round.
Bosnia and Herzegovina had eight representatives in doubles. The five of them went to another, Petar Biletić playing in pairs with Nijemac Peranović, a team member, Antonio Voljavec, Andrej Nedić and Vladan Tadic who plays in pairs with Serbian Tennis player Mark Maksimovic.
The tournament lasts until Sunday, 15. June, when the final match is scheduled at 2 p.m. The day before will be a playful semifinal encounters of the single and couple finals.
The tournament is held in its 26. edition by the Elliptic Tennis Club and the municipality of Kiseljak, under the auspices of the President of the FBiH Lidie Bradar.
