Anis Kalajdžić (33), a football referee from Mostar, brutally killed Aldina Jahić (32) on Sunday around 6 pm on Ivan Krndelja Square in this city.
HNK duty prosecutor Vesna Pranjić, who led the investigation after the murder of Aldina Jahić in Mostar, confirmed to the media that the victim had been receiving threatening messages from the perpetrator for some time.
The prosecutor also revealed that Aldina Jahić unfortunately did not report it.
On Sunday around 18:00 there was first a verbal and then a physical confrontation between the killer Anis Kalajdžić (1992) and Aldina Jahić, who is from Kalesija.
Aldina was returning from the gym at the moment when Kalajdžić pounced on her.
“Aldina tried to escape to the building on the plateau of the Railway Station in order to hide. However, he caught up with her, found her and killed her,” the portal reports the prosecutor’s words Hercegovina.info.
She points out that she could not confirm the information that appeared in the public that the suspect tried to commit suicide after the crime.
The murderer Anis Kalajdžić was arrested, and during the day it is expected that the HNK Prosecution will request a one-month detention.
The murder took place on Trg Ivan Krndelja, in the immediate vicinity of the bus station.

Among those saying goodbye to the murdered Aldina Jahić is the economist Admir Čavalić, who knew her.
“It’s hard to find words for someone’s death. It’s even harder if that person was younger than you, a student, a person who called you a mentor. From the first educations, organization of events, international trips, reading one, two, third, fiftieth book all the way to writing joint scientific papers and global projects. A decade of work and growth. When you watch how a student learns, works, develops into a strong individual. That person was Aldina Jahić, the ‘philosopher’ as I called her. Philosopher tonight he tried to escape from a thug, a fool, some kind of weakling without a spine,” said Čavalic.
Then he also spoke about her organizational abilities.
“Aldina could organize an event for 1,000 people, write dozens of papers, speak in front of a full crowd outside, fluently in English, talk about BiH and joke. She could do everything, that’s how I saw her. But she didn’t manage to escape tonight. Go on, dear philosopher. May God’s soul rest in Bosnia, sincere condolences to the Jahić family. Inna lillahi we inna ilejhi rajji’un,” he concluded.
