The Institute for Public Health of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina organized a reception for media representatives, which was held at the Institute for Public Health of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Organizational Unit in Sarajevo.
The reception was an opportunity for the director of the Institute for Public Health of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to thank the media for their cooperation and effort in reporting on the Institute’s regular activities in the past year 2025.
“I thank you for your cooperation and partnership during the year 2025 with the expectation and desire that our cooperation on improving public health in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the future period will be even more qualitative and meaningful,” said Siniša Skočibušić, director of the Institute for Public Health of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He reminded that over the previous four years, the Institute strengthened its position in the public health system, improved laboratory, epidemiological and educational capacities, and showed that it can be an important and reliable partner to the health system and society as a whole.
Skočibušić also presented the priorities and plans of the Institute for Public Health of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2026, i.e. in the new mandate period of four years.
“We have a clear work plan for the period 2025 – 2029, which includes modernization, digitization, strengthening of preventive programs and additional strengthening of professional capacities. The goal is to continue building the Institute as an institution of knowledge, reliability, expertise and public responsibility. We will ensure continuity of activities with the introduction of innovative projects aimed at strengthening the public health system, modernization of the Institute and further harmonization with European Union standards. Our view remains forward – towards progress and the creation of permanent benefits for the citizens we serve,” he concluded. Skocibusic.
The brochure Overview of the most significant achievements of the Institute for Public Health of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina 2021 – 2025 and the Plan and Program of the Institute’s work 2025 – 2029 were presented to media representatives.
In 2025, the Institute for Public Health of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina answered 82 media inquiries. The Institute’s representatives made 195 media appearances and were guests in domestic and foreign media programs. The Institute produced 17 video statements, TV items and TV reports on various public health topics for the media. 197 articles and announcements were published on the Institute’s web and social networks, the Institute stated, reports Klix.
