Široki voda basketball players (34:45) after an excellent first half in the second leg of the semi-finals of the ABA 2 league, which they play from 6 p.m. away to the Kansai Helios team.
In the first game played at Pecara, HKK Široki celebrated with a result 92:82 and thus took a 1:0 lead in the series, which is played on two wins.
Great beat established by Široki’s basketball players from the first minute of the match. They showed their determination in the fight for the final of this competition by creating an advantage 5:15 after four minutes of play. The local basketball players did not manage to find a solution for the quick transitions of the guests and their mood MC Creary and Bosniaks.
Even after the time-out, the Helios players did not react well, while Širobriježani held on 100% performance by two points for almost the entire first quarter. After the first 10 minutes, the scoreboard showed a convincing lead of the guests 15:29.
It’s wide furiously opened the second quarter as well. Marijan Bagarić’s players controlled the events on the field, and the home team failed to stabilize their game. The guests on several occasions had and +18but the Helios team managed to get back to -10 two and a half minutes before the end of the first half. So we went on vacation with a result 34:45.
Široki was definitely the better team, but the shortened rotation came to the fore in this match as well, and the guests managed to reach a more acceptable deficit before the second half.
