Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman told Iran’s president on Tuesday that the Kingdom would not allow its airspace or territory to be used for any military attack on Iran.
In recent weeks, the United States has threatened to attack Iran due to the brutal suppression of anti-regime protests across the country.
US President Donald Trump also ordered the deployment of aircraft carriers and additional military resources to the region in preparation for a possible attack.
During the telephone conversation, which was initiated by Masoud Pezeshkian, the Iranian president explained the latest events in the country, including the development of talks on the nuclear program.
– During the conversation, the Crown Prince emphasized the position of the Kingdom in respecting the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran and that the Kingdom will not allow the use of its airspace or territory in any military actions against Iran or attacks from any side, regardless of the goal – the official statement states.
