Central ceremony on the occasion of the 15th of April – the Day of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina for Zenica-Doboj Canton was held in Breza, the unique fighter organization “Union Veterans” of the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton and the Ministry of Breeze and Birch Municipality.
Defiled the streets of Breza, laying flowers and honoring the bishops and Šehitluk II, the central memorial to the birch and civilian victims of the Župča war, and then a ceremonial academy was held with the presence of representatives of the social, political and religious life, defense populations and citizens.
– Fifteen April – Army Day of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, symbolizes the beginning of an organized military fight for the survival of our people and all citizens of our country. On that day in 1992. The Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina was formed, which became an unstoppable force in the fight against aggressors, a symbol of strength, endurance and solidarity. This day is not just an opportunity to pay tribute to all those who gave their lives, but also to recall the fundamental values that they defended themselves – unity, freedom, equality and fraternal solidarity among all nations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nezir Pivić said.
The Minister of Boračka issues Adnan Sirovica said that the formation of the RBiH Army was an expression of responsibility, patriotic and political maturity and the political and patriotic commitment of its citizens and people.
– RBiH Army was created in the time when the existence of our homeland was called into question. She opposed a multi-superior enemy and managed to defend not only the territory, but also human dignity, freedom and fundamental civilizational values. If there were no Army of RBiH – there would be no Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is an indisputable historical fact. With pride and deep respect, we remember everyone who installed their lives in the foundation of our homeland – said Minister Siroca.
Marking the Day of the RBiH Army in Breza also attended the Chairman of the Assembly of the Zenica-Doboj Canton of the Huskić and Cantonal Ministers Jasmin Čajić and Emir Vraco.
On behalf of the hosts, the Chief of the Municipality of Vedad Jusic, on behalf of the Technical Organizer, is a member of the Job “UNION OF THE RBIH, and the war commander of the Army 304. Mountain Brigade Army RBiH, retired major Fetah Bajrić.

Our responsibility today is to keep the memory of them, to respect and value their contribution, and to continue to build a society in which everyone is respected, regardless of the folk, religious or any other affiliation. Our future lies in peace, cooperation and mutual respect. Today, remembering our fighters, we are reminded of the obligation to build a better society, that we never forget the victims and courage that has led us to freedom – said the Prime Minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton Nezir Pivić.
